Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Hunt Valley, MD, USA (Friday, June 6, 2008) – Cristal Global (Cristal) announced today that it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile TionaÒ and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO₂) products sold in the Europe region by € 50 per metric ton on July 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.

These price increases are required to partially offset the unprecedented increases in raw material, energy and transportation costs which have severely impacted the profitability and sustainability of the TiO₂ business.

These increases are in addition to previously announced price increases.
