Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Hunt Valley, MD, USA (Wednesday, June 4, 2008) – Cristal Global (Cristal) announced today that it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile TionaÒ and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in North America by US $0.05 per pound effective on July 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.
“These price increases are required to partially offset the unprecedented raw material, freight and energy cost increases that we have seen over the last few years, which have driven margins to unacceptable levels,” said John Hall, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
These increases are in addition to previously announced price increases.
