Cristal Global Announces TiO2 Price Increases in the Middle East and Africa

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Hunt Valley, MD, USA (Wednesday, June 4, 2008) – Cristal Global (Cristal) announced today that it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile TionaÒ and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold into all Middle East and Africa end-use markets by US $150 per metric ton effective on July 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.

These price increases are required to partially offset the unprecedented increases in raw material, energy and transportation costs which have severely impacted the profitability and sustainability of the TiO2 business.

These increases are in addition to previously announced price increases.
