HUNT VALLEY, MD and JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA (Tuesday, March 4, 2008) – Cristal Global (Cristal) announced today price increases on the sale of all of its titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in Japan. Effective April 1, 2008, or as permitted by contract, prices for all rutile and anatase Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold to all end-use markets in Japan will increase by 33 yen per kilogram.
These increases are necessary to compensate for increases in costs.
