Cristal Global Announces TiO2 Raw Material Surcharges for
Tiona® RCS-P and Tiona® 4000 sold in the North America Market |
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Hunt Valley, MD, USA (Wednesday, August 6, 2008) - Cristal Global announced today that it will apply raw material and energy surcharges on its anatase and rutile Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold into the North American paper market as follows, effective immediately.
On Tiona RCS-P: US $0.06 per pound
On Tiona 4000: US $0.14 per pound
These raw material surcharges are required to partially offset unprecedented increases in raw material and energy costs which have severely impacted the profitability and sustainability of the TiO2 business.
These surcharges are separate and in addition to previously announced surcharges and price increases in this market.
